Refund policy

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

A major failure includes where a product:

• is unsafe;
• is significantly different from its description, sample or demonstration model;
• does not do what we told you it would do, or what you told us you needed it for; or
• has a problem that would have stopped you buying it had you known about it.

These rights apply for a reasonable period having regard to the nature of the product, its price and how it is used. We do not impose a fixed time limit on faulty-goods claims, and these rights are in addition to any manufacturer's warranty.

We cover the cost of return freight on goods that are faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied or not as described. We do not charge restocking or handling fees on those returns. Where a refund is due, we refund the original delivery charge as well.

To make a claim, contact us at sales@highwayshineco.com.au with your order number and a description of the fault. Photos help us resolve things quickly, but they are not a condition of your rights.

Change of mind

Separately from the rights above, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind — including where you ordered the wrong size, grade or specification, or no longer need the item.

Because many of our products are consumables and abrasives, please check grades, wheel sizes and thread specifications before ordering. If you are unsure what suits your setup, contact us before you buy and we will help you get it right.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law set out above.

Damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged, contact us and we will replace it or refund it. Please keep the packaging where you can — it helps us claim against the carrier — but this is not a condition of your remedy.
