10″ Medium Cut Airway Buffing Wheel – Metal Polishing
The bridging step between heavy cut and finishing — and a sensible starting point on metal that does not need the full aggression of a red wheel. 16-ply cotton construction holds up at higher speeds on large surfaces like truck tanks, bullbars, and wide flat panels.

How To Use: Mount with a matched 3″ safety flange. Apply your compound to the wheel face and work in overlapping passes across the surface. Approximate starting speed is 3,500 RPM with either compound.
Two ways to run this wheel. With 439T it becomes a cutting wheel — less aggressive than 439T on a red wheel, which makes it a good choice when the metal needs real work but not the hardest cut available. With P14F it refines, tidying up the finish after a heavy cut stage or working sound metal straight to a good surface.
One compound per wheel. The wheel type takes either compound, but each individual wheel you own should only ever meet one of them. If you want to run both 439T and P14F on yellow wheels, buy two and keep them separate.
